TARABA 2023: We Will Fix Taraba, PRP Guber Candidate, Wasa Assures

The People Redemption Party (PRP) Governorship Candidate for Taraba State Elections, Engr. Josiah Wukari Wasa says he and his team are ready to bring about the desired developmental changes needed in Taraba State.

Engr.  Wasa stated this on Wednesday at a press Conference held in Jalingo the Taraba State Capital appealed to Tarabans to vote him into office come March 11th 2023, assured that he will fix all the collapsed sectors of the State beginning with the Economy which he says will solve multiple challenges faced by the People such as Poverty, unemployment and poor quality healthcare as well as Education.

He debunked the rumor about him stepping down for another Candidate.

“Let me say this very clear, our party, The People Redemption Party is for the masses and the downtrodden, and it’s that objectives we represent, as such, am in the race and I have not withdrawn for any one ” he said

Engr.  Wasa flanked by his deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon. Suleman Ahmed Nyakos, Party Acting Chairman Mr. Umar Idris, some candidate for the House of Assembly Elections and other Party faithful’s unveil his manifesto hinged on the acronym of F.I.R.S.T which stands for Fixing Taraba, Inventing a new Taraba, Restoring, Safeguarding and Transforming Taraba State  disclosed that the rumor making rounds that he pulled out of the guber race haven been offered money, challenged anyone in possession of  such evidence to come forward with it or desist from  attempting to tarnish his image, distract his followers warned that he will not hesitate to take legal means to seek redress.

Speaking further, Wasa revealed that his Top priority is to address the security and general wellbeing of the people and communities of Taraba State if elected Governor come March 11th 2023.

“Security is our top priority because, it’s only when people are secure and safe, that we can guarantee prosperity of every Taraban” he added.

Engr. Wasa said that his government and party when elected into power shall treat everyone equally irrespective of where he or she comes from.

He said that infrastructural development and urban renewal shall be the thrust of his development agenda.

“Jalingo, Taraba State Capital as a whole can best be described as a “dirty and unkept City, not befitting of a state Capital”

“if it is this bad here, one can only imagine how bad the other communities across the State are, if elected into office as the Taraba State Governor, I and my team of experts carefully selected, will fix all this” he assured.

Mr. Wasa who is a marine Engineer by Profession, said that the civil service and Judiciary would be well equipped to Perform efficiently to deliver service, justice and fairness for everyone.
