NCWS Executives Visits First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to Advance Women’s Development in Nigeria

The National Council of Women’s Societies (NCWS) Nigeria, led by its National President, Princess Edna D.D Azura, paid a courtesy visit to the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting was a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to address pressing issues affecting women and girl child across the country.

The NCWS delegation engaged the First Lady in a robust discussion on critical topics such as gender-based violence, education for the girl-child, and economic empowerment programs aimed at improving the livelihoods of Nigerian women.
During the visit Princess Edna D.D Azura emphasized the urgent need for strengthened policies and collaborative initiatives to tackle these challenges.
