Yandang Day “hera-yawetti” 2022 Holds May 7
The National Cultural Festival of the Yandang Community in Nigeria tagged “hera-yawetti “comes up on the 7th day of May, 2022.
The event is billed to take place at the cultural site located in Gorobi, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The Annual Yandang Cultural Day Festival is being promoted by the Yandang Heritage Foundation.
According to the organizers, the event is aimed at among other things: To present and showcase the beauty of Yandang Culture to serve as a means of effective social mobilization for the common good of the Yandang Community, fund research and documentation of Yandang Cultural Heritage; fund and develop the Yandang Language; as well asto harness and foster the common traditional values of all Yandang people.
The Yandang Day has consequently become a household name in Yandang land and a vehicle for showcasing the cultural endowments of the Yandang people to the admiration of all and sundry.
