Coleiro Appointed to IARC–UNICART Diplomatic Committee By Raymond Enoch
Mrqs. Anthony C. Coleiro, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Malta, has been appointed to the Diplomatic Committee of the International Academic Research Center–UNICART (IARC–UNICART), based in Tirana, Albania.
The appointment, contained in the organisation’s 2026 Committee document, places Coleiro among academics, diplomats, professionals and institutional representatives contributing to IARC–UNICART’s international engagement and committee activities.
According to the document, Coleiro serves on the Diplomatic Committee in his capacity as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Malta.
He joins other prominent members of the committee, including Gianvico Camisasca, an Italian diplomat and Vice President and National Secretary of FE.N.CO., as well as Roberto Galanti, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova and Adjunct Professor in Transport Sciences.
IARC–UNICART’s broader international structure includes Programme, Editorial and European Policies Committees, alongside Scientific Committees focusing on areas such as economy and management, environment, heritage and culture, social affairs and tourism.
Speaking on his appointment, Coleiro said he was honoured to join the Diplomatic Committee and expressed readiness to contribute to the organisation’s work in promoting dialogue, international cooperation and stronger links between diplomacy, academia and institutional development.
> “Academic cooperation and diplomacy share an important responsibility: to create channels through which knowledge, dialogue and international relationships can contribute to sustainable and peaceful development,” he said.
He said the appointment would provide another platform for contributing to engagement between academic and diplomatic communities while supporting broader international cooperation.
The appointment further expands Coleiro’s involvement in diplomacy, international relations and institutional affairs, particularly in initiatives that seek to strengthen cooperation and dialogue across national and professional boundaries.
IARC–UNICART is an international academic and institutional platform headquartered in Tirana, Albania, with activities and committees bringing together professionals and experts from different fields.
