NCDC Chairman Mourns Late Chief Audu Ogbeh.

The Chairman of the Board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Barrister Cosmos Akirghir, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of elder statesman, Chief Audu Ogbeh.

Chief Ogbeh, a respected figure who served Nigeria in various capacities and made significant contributions to national development, was laid to rest at his country home in Efugo, Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State.
Barr. Akirghir described the late Ogbeh as a towering figure whose legacy in public service and agriculture has left an indelible mark on the nation.
In a condolence statement, the NCDC Chairman extended his heartfelt sympathies to the Ogbeh family, friends, and associates, noting that the Commission would have greatly benefited from Chief Ogbeh’s wisdom and guidance in its mission to transform lives across the North Central region.
He praised the late statesman’s exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s agricultural sector and his unwavering pursuit of sustainable economic growth and food security. “His commitment to public service and national development was unparalleled,” Akirghir said.
Even after leaving public office, Chief Ogbeh continued to offer his vast knowledge and experience for the good of the country, the Chairman noted, urging Nigerians to emulate his exemplary values and patriotism.
“His impact will resonate through generations, and I pray that God grants his soul eternal rest,” Barr. Akirghir added.
