Interior Minister Tunji-Ojo Opens Doors to Journalists, pledges Stronger Media Partnership.

The Minister of interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has pledged his support to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council.
He made the remark while hosting the leadership of NUJ FCT Council led by its Chairman, Comrade Grace Ike on a courtesy visit to his office.
According to him, his doors are always open to journalists.
The Minister, also lauded the important role of the media as the watch dog holding the government accountable and ensuring that leaders live up to their responsibilities.
He congratulated the Chairman of the NUJ FCT council, Comrade Grace Ike, on her historic emergence as the first female Chairman of NUJ FCT Council, and acknowledged her impressive track record as a correspondent and leader of the Press Corps at the National Assembly.
The Chairman of NUJ, FCT Council, Comrade Grace lke expressed her appreciation for the warm reception and highlighted areas of concern, describing the Minister as a committed leader with a passion for driving positive changes in the country.
She encouraged the Minister to continue partnering with the media as the Ministry of Interior delivers on its mandate in fulfillment of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
