Europe on the Brink: ECIPS President Ricardo Baretzky Warns of “Civilizational Collapse” Amid Immigration Crisis.
By Raymond Enoch
As Europe grapples with an ongoing immigration crisis, a warning from Ricardo Baretzky, President of the European Centre for Information Policy and Security (ECIPS), is sending shockwaves across the continent.
In a stark critique of the European Union’s immigration policies, Baretzky has sounded the alarm on what he views as an impending “civilizational collapse” due to unchecked migration and the erosion of Europe’s traditional values.
In a recent interview, Baretzky, whose agency holds official status as a European Union Intelligence Agency by Royal Decree WL22/16.594 and Treaty EST124 Council of Europe, echoed US Vice President J.D. Vance’s warning from the Munich Security Conference earlier this year. Both leaders agree that Europe is teetering on the edge of irreversible damage, threatening its cultural and religious fabric.
At the heart of Baretzky’s concerns is the ongoing wave of illegal immigration, which he believes is gradually eroding Europe’s cultural foundations. He aligns himself with Vance’s assessment that the EU is on the verge of “civilizational suicide,” citing the laxity of border controls and the rise of illegal migration as pivotal factors in this decline.
Baretzky sees Europe, once the cradle of Western civilization and Christian values, becoming a shadow of its former self—transformed by a surge of migrants from predominantly Muslim nations.
“We are witnessing a transformation that threatens the very identity of Europe,” Baretzky warned. “The values that once shaped this continent—Christianity and its historical connection to the rise of modern Western society—are being systematically undermined. If Europe’s identity continues to erode, so too will the principles that underpin the entire Western world.”
Baretzky’s dire predictions are not a new phenomenon. Almost a decade ago, in February 2014, he and other experts at the African Counter Terrorism Summit raised alarms about the dangers of illegal migration from Africa. At that time, they predicted that uncontrolled migration would eventually threaten Europe’s cultural and historical identity. Today, Baretzky believes those predictions are beginning to come true.
“We warned of the massive migration that would overwhelm Europe, and now, nearly ten years later, we are witnessing the consequences,” he noted, reflecting on the increasing number of immigrants from countries with very different cultural and religious backgrounds. “Europe is no longer the bastion of Christian civilization it once was. We risk becoming something completely unrecognizable.”
For Baretzky, the loss of Europe’s shared cultural and religious bonds is the root cause of the continent’s growing security issues. “Cultural bonds are the bedrock of security,” he argued. “Without a shared foundation, we are headed towards social fragmentation and chaos.”
Baretzky pointed out that the EU’s emphasis on multiculturalism and open-border policies has contributed to the unraveling of societal cohesion. He asserts that many immigrants, particularly from Muslim-majority nations, have failed to integrate fully into European society, creating isolated communities and increasing tensions. These tensions, he warns, could eventually lead to social unrest, violence, or even civil war.
“The EU’s multicultural agenda is misguided,” he stated. “It treats all cultures as equally valid, regardless of whether they align with the values that shaped Europe. This will only lead to more division and destruction.
Central to Baretzky’s argument is the issue of illegal immigration, which he believes has reached crisis levels. With an estimated 25 million illegal migrants currently residing in Europe, Baretzky described the situation as a “ticking time bomb.”
“The EU’s failure to enforce border controls has created an unsustainable situation,” he warned. “If this trend continues, we will see catastrophic consequences. Social unrest, violence, and even the collapse of European security are not just possibilities—they are likely outcomes.”
Baretzky insists that immediate action must be taken to reverse current policies, starting with strict border enforcement and the deportation of millions of illegal migrants. “We must reclaim control of our borders before it’s too late,” he said. “Europe’s future depends on it.”
Baretzky’s message is not just a political critique, but a call to action. He urges European leaders to discard the politically correct, multicultural agenda and instead adopt a pragmatic approach that prioritizes security, cultural preservation, and the values that have historically defined Europe.
“This is not just about politics; this is about survival,” Baretzky emphasized. “If Europe loses its identity, it loses everything. We need leaders who have the courage to defend our heritage and ensure that Europe remains true to its roots.”
As Europe faces increasingly difficult decisions in the coming years, the message from Baretzky is clear and urgent. If Europe does not act now to halt the tide of illegal migration and defend its cultural heritage, it risks losing everything that has made it great.
Europe stands at a crossroads, and Baretzky’s warning could prove to be a pivotal moment. The decisions made in the coming months will shape the future of the continent—will it find the political will to preserve its identity, or will it succumb to the forces of demographic change and cultural dilution? The future of European civilization hangs in the balance.
