EU-Funded ‘Hustle’ Reality TV Show Launches in Abuja to Spotlight for Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs.

The European Union in Nigeria on Tuesday 18th November 2025, officially launched The Hustle Reality TV Show (Buge Buge) in Abuja, Nigeria unveiling a dynamic new platform to spotlight the resilience, talent and entrepreneurial spirit of young Nigerians across the country.

Funded by the European Union in Nigeria, the reality show is designed to help young people “turn their hustle into impact” by providing visibility, mentorship and opportunities, especially for youths in Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto States.
The launch event brought together an impressive gathering of high-level dignitaries, policymakers, development partners, and leaders in media and security, all united by a shared vision to empower young Nigerians and support their entrepreneurial journeys.

In attendance were the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria, Mignot Gautier, Head of the EU Delegation to Nigeria; Ronald Sonnemans, Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands; the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command; the Secretary to the Katsina State Government; representatives of the World Bank; officials from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA); delegates from the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC); and representatives from the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
They were joined by civil society partners, youth organisations, media houses and private-sector supporters, underscoring broad multi-stakeholder support for the initiative.

Organisers said the national launch marks the beginning of a new chapter where young Nigerians in Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto are seen, heard and given a platform to shine, using their hustle, creativity and innovation to inspire others and drive positive change in their communities.
