The countdown is on as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) gears up for its Trade and Investment Forum & Exhibition at the 2025 Lagos International Trade Fair, scheduled to open on November 7, 2025, at the ECOWAS Pavilion, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

With just four days to go, the regional body is intensifying preparations to spotlight the collective economic potential of West Africa under the theme of “Connecting Businesses, Creating Value.” The event forms part of the activities marking ECOWAS at 50, highlighting five decades of regional integration, economic cooperation, and investment promotion among its 15 member states.
The ECOWAS Trade and Investment Forum and Exhibition will serve as a premier platform for governments, business leaders, and investors to engage in meaningful dialogue, explore opportunities in trade, technology, and industry, and strengthen intra-regional commerce.

Organized in collaboration with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the forum aims to project ECOWAS as a vibrant investment hub and deepen private sector participation in driving sustainable development and job creation across the sub-region.
The ECOWAS Pavilion will host business networking sessions, exhibitions of West African goods and innovations, and interactive showcases of regional initiatives that align with the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
As ECOWAS celebrates its 50th anniversary, the upcoming forum symbolizes its enduring commitment to fostering economic transformation, regional integration, and prosperity for the people of West Africa.
