The President of the ECOWAS Commission, H.E Dr Omar Alieu TOURAY has congratulated His Excellency John Dramani Mahama Ghana President Elect on his victory at the just concluded polls.

In a statement issued in Abuja Nigeria today, H.E
H.E Dr Omar Alieu TOURAY also congratulated the people of Ghana on their successful and peaceful conduct during the elections which many described as one devoid of violence.

The statement also commended the outgoing Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for his timely conceding of defeat describing it as ” show of Statesmanship and Love of Country”
