ECOWAS Host an Exclusive Abuja INTERNATIONAL MARATHON TO MARK ,50th ANNIVERSARY

As days ticks for the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to mark its 50th anniversary, the ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Centre is organizing third edition of the ECOWAS International Marathon in Abuja slated for the 1st March , 2025
This major sporting event is designed to promote the fundamental values of ECOWAS institution, such as the integration of its peoples and citizens, promote sustainable peace and socio-economic development through sports.
The ECOWAS International Marathon is designed as an initiative open to all nationalities and encourages the participation of both genders.
The ECOWAS Commission offers up to $71,000 in prizes up for grabs and the ECOWAS International Marathon event holding in Abuja Nigeria, is expected to attract both elite runners and amateur participants. Registration is free and can be made at: https://www.ecowasabujamarathon.org.
Sports fans and actors are encouraged to join the ECOWAS in marking this all important event as it’s important to the overall mandate of the regional body.
