FCT Police Commissioner with Zone 7 AIG, Strenghen Security Ties to Combat Crime.

In a move aimed at deepening inter-command cooperation and enhancing security coordination within the Federal Capital Territory and beyond, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, AIG Victor Olaiya, psc(+).
In a statement signed by ASP Mohammed Halima Pamela, Zonal Public Relations Officer, the visit was described as part of ongoing efforts to bolster operational synergy between the FCT Command and the Zonal Headquarters, with a focus on improving intelligence sharing, joint operations, and community policing strategies.
During their deliberations, both senior officers exchanged insights on prevailing security challenges within the zone and explored proactive measures to enhance the safety of residents across the FCT and neighboring states under Zone 7’s jurisdiction.
AIG Victor Olaiya lauded CP Dantawaye for his dedication, professionalism, and proactive leadership in sustaining peace and order within the Federal Capital Territory. He reaffirmed the Zone’s unwavering commitment to supporting the FCT Command in line with the strategic policing vision of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM.
The visit, described as fruitful and forward-looking, signifies a renewed drive for unity of purpose among top police commands in the region—an effort expected to yield more robust security outcomes and improved service delivery to the public.
