The National Productivity Centre (NPC) is set to collaborate with the Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) in a strategic National move to enhance its visibility and amplify productivity awareness across Nigeria and beyond.

Director-General of the NPC, Hon. Baffa Babba Dan-Agundi, made the announcement on Tuesday during a courtesy visit by ACOE to the Centre’s headquarters in Abuja.
The NPC, a key federal agency under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, plays a central role in promoting productivity consciousness and driving economic competitiveness nationwide.
While receiving the ACOE delegation, Dan-Agundi emphasized the need for developmental journalism, stating that it was critical for fast-tracking national progress. He noted that despite its significant role, the Centre has not received enough media attention—a gap the new partnership aims to bridge.
“You came at the right time. I believe this partnership will project our image positively, and we’re fully ready to work with you,” he said.
The DG also lauded the economic policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing his administration’s blueprint as impactful and effective in stabilizing the economy. He cited improved access to foreign exchange and debt clearance for airlines as clear indicators of progress.
ACOE’s Public Relations Officer, Comrade Gbemiga Olamikan, who represented the association’s Chairman, Comrade Sola Akingboye, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. He highlighted ACOE’s capacity to tell NPC’s success stories through digital platforms, enhancing engagement and visibility.
“We’re ready to support NPC with our expertise in digital storytelling and strategic content creation. With over 50 experienced editors, we aim to help amplify the Centre’s goals and drive national productivity,” Olamikan said.
The visit marks the beginning of what both parties described as a mutually beneficial partnership geared toward fostering economic growth and poverty reduction through enhanced productivity awareness
