Themed “Strengthening Performance Management for Fiscal Stability,”

The two-day retreat emphasized the critical role of leadership in achieving the administration’s ambitious economic goals.

Addressing the gathering, Edun underscored the Ministry’s pivotal role in executing government policies, stating, “You are the engine room of policy execution. The performance of this Ministry is, to a large extent, a reflection of your effectiveness.” He called for renewed purpose, measurable impact, and sustained economic reform aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to inclusive growth, Edun reaffirmed the target to accelerate Nigeria’s GDP growth to 7% annually, aiming to lift millions of Nigerians out of poverty. He also acknowledged the support of Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for hosting the retreat and his administration’s efforts in driving economic development.
