The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Human Capital Development (HCD) Secretariat recently conducted a key assessment visit to Togo, focusing on the progress and impact of the HCD Catalytic Investment Funds.

The visit, aimed at evaluating the funds’ effectiveness in advancing human capital initiatives, reflects ECOWAS’s continued commitment to strengthening education, health, and skills development across the region.

The HCD Catalytic Investment Funds, launched by ECOWAS, is designed to provide essential support for projects that enhance human capital in West Africa, particularly in areas critical for sustainable development.

The Togo visit is part of a broader strategy to assess and optimize the deployment of these funds across member states, ensuring that they align with regional goals of improving human capital and promoting inclusive economic growth.
