The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is setting its sights firmly on winning the upcoming area council elections, with an even greater focus on clinching victory in the 2027 general elections.
This bold declaration came from Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, the Federal Capital Territory Minister of State, during a crucial stakeholders meeting.
Dr. Mahmoud’s statement, brimming with optimism and resolve, signaled a shift in the party’s approach, as it seeks to tackle longstanding issues while reaffirming its commitment to the people of the FCT. “The APC in FCT is taking shape and becoming more focused on the way forward,” she stated. “We have identified where our problems lie, and we are more united to overcome them. Our unity will reflect in the area council elections and the general election come 2027.”
A key theme of the meeting was the renewed unity within the APC, with Dr. Mahmoud emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the collective interest of the party over the selfish pursuits of individuals.
