FORMER APPOINTEES TOP LIST AS GOV. KEFAS APPOINTS 133 AIDES AND SSAs

In what look like a great expectations across Taraba State, the Executive Governor of the state on Wednesday 19th June, 2024, approved a list of political appointees.
In a press release signed by the Secretary to the Government of the state Chief (Barr ) Gebon Timothy Kataps, made available to newsmen in Jalingo, the state capital , described as “approval of appointments as Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Community Special Assistants, Boards, Commissions and Agencies of Taraba State Government” carried one hundred and thirty three political appointees in the cadre of Special Advisers Senior Special Advisers , Special Assistants and Community Special Assistants .
Top on the list are former Senator, Zik Sunday, Former Minister of the Federation Dr Mohammed Shata Jen, Mr Obadiahj Ando, Ambassador Waziri, Former Ambassador John Musa , Senator Dahiru Bako, The former SSG Mr Anthony Jellason who served in the previous administration of former Governor DARIUS Dickson and four former Speakers of Taraba State House of Assembly.
Others include former Commissioners in the cabinet of the previous government and former House of Assembly member and Local Government Chairmen respectively.
In a reaction to the appointments made by the executive Governor , a Renown Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state Alhaji Hassan Umaru Kona said the Governor merely recycled politicians describing them as thos “ who did nothing frangible in the state when they had the opportunity”
