The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Malta has appointed Paradigm News International Media as its strategic media partner, in a landmark move designed to amplify the country’s diplomatic, economic, and cultural footprint from Malta to the rest of the world.
The partnership, sealed through a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Malta, officially accredits Paradigm News — a publication of Paradigm Communications Ltd. — as the African Media House for the Honorary Consulate of Côte d’Ivoire in Malta.
The agreement positions Paradigm News at the heart of the Consulate’s communications architecture, tasked with projecting Côte d’Ivoire’s diplomatic activities, bilateral engagements, and international outreach to regional and global audiences.
H.E. Mrqs. Anthony C. Coleiro, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Malta, described the collaboration as a strategic step in deepening the country’s visibility and engagement across borders.
“This partnership marks an important milestone in reinforcing Côte d’Ivoire’s presence and engagement in Malta,” he said at the signing ceremony. “Through Paradigm News’ professional coverage, we aim to ensure that our diplomatic initiatives, bilateral engagements, and cultural activities receive the visibility and clarity they deserve.”
Under the MoU, Paradigm News will deliver dedicated, professional coverage of the Consulate’s diplomatic activities, official events, and public engagements. This includes spotlighting governmental delegations from Côte d’Ivoire visiting Malta, and reporting on international conferences, summits, and strategic events involving the Consulate.
The agreement also envisages robust media support for stories on bilateral cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and Malta, cultural programmes, and business initiatives, ensuring that such content is disseminated through Paradigm’s regional and global channels.
Representing Paradigm Communications Ltd., H.E. Ambassador Raymond Enoch underscored the significance of the appointment for Africa-focused storytelling on the global stage.
“We are honoured to serve as the official African Media House for the Consulate,” he affirmed. “Paradigm News is committed to providing accurate, ethical, and comprehensive coverage that reflects the diplomatic aspirations and international outreach of Côte d’Ivoire.”
As part of the arrangement, the Honorary Consulate will provide Paradigm News with timely press releases, briefings, and access to relevant events, in line with diplomatic protocol. Paradigm Communications Ltd. will be acknowledged as a media partner in appropriate communications, platforms, and events, further consolidating its role as a strategic communications ally.
Both institutions have pledged to uphold high standards of professionalism, transparency, and respect for diplomatic sensitivities, ensuring that all published material reflects accuracy, integrity, and the broader public interest.
The Honorary Consulate of Côte d’Ivoire in Malta plays a crucial role in advancing bilateral relations between Abidjan and Valletta, with a focus on diplomatic cooperation, business engagement, cultural exchange, and support services for Ivorian nationals in Malta.
For Paradigm News, the partnership adds a strong diplomatic pillar to its already expanding international portfolio. The outlet is widely recognized as a trusted media partner to major institutions including the ECOWAS Commission, Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Germany in Nigeria, and CDD/WADEMOS West Africa — a track record that reinforces its credibility and reach.
With this new mandate from the Honorary Consulate in Malta, Paradigm News International Media is poised to become a central channel through which Côte d’Ivoire’s Mediterranean diplomacy, economic diplomacy, and cultural narratives are projected to Africa, Europe, and beyond.
